We prepare the report, you approve it, it gets filed through the AML Online portal before the deadline. You spend about fifteen minutes on it. We spend the rest.

Who this is for

Businesses supervised by the Department of Internal Affairs — real estate agencies, law firms, conveyancers, accounting practices, trust and company service providers, and the other sectors DIA covers.

If you're not certain whether you're captured, say so on the form. We'll tell you straight, and we won't invoice you for a report you don't have to file.

How it works
  1. You fill in a 15-minute questionnaire. Plain questions about your firm and the year you've had. No document hunt, and nothing you need an adviser to answer.
  2. We draft your report and check your risk assessment is current. If the risk assessment is stale or missing we tell you before it becomes a problem, not after.
  3. You review and approve, then it's filed. Nothing is submitted until you've read it and confirmed it. It goes in through the AML Online portal, well before 31 August.

The Full Compliance Pack is for firms starting from nothing, or whose documents were written years ago and haven't been looked at since. If you're not sure which you need, pick "not sure" on the form and we'll tell you before you pay anything.

Who's actually doing the work

Deplexify is run by a New Zealand–qualified chartered accountant — a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, with thirteen years in practice in the UK before that. Compliance paperwork is what we do all day.

We prepare, you approve. You are the one who attests to the report, and we never file anything you haven't confirmed. That's not a formality — the obligations are your firm's, and the sign-off has to be yours.

This is a document preparation and filing service. It isn't legal advice, and we don't act as your AML/CFT compliance officer. The terms of engagement set out exactly where the line sits — they're worth the three minutes.

Answer these honestly rather than optimistically — "no" and "not sure" are completely normal answers and they don't cost you anything. They just tell us how much there is to do.

3. Terms

The short version — the full terms take about three minutes and are worth reading:

  • A flat fee — NZ$495 + GST for the annual report service, NZ$1,495 + GST for the full compliance pack. Launch pricing, confirmed in writing before you pay anything.
  • We prepare, you approve. You review every document and you attest to the report. Nothing is filed until you've confirmed it.
  • We work from what you tell us. We don't audit or verify it, and we can't.
  • This is not legal advice and not an assurance engagement.
  • We don't act as your AML/CFT compliance officer. That role stays inside your firm.
  • If we wrote your programme, we can't also be the independent auditor of it. We'll say so up front and help you find someone else.
  • Get us your answers by 15 August so there's time to draft, review and file. The window closes 31 August and it doesn't move.
  • Full refund before we start work. Once your report is drafted the fee is earned.
  • Your legal obligations stay yours. Engaging us doesn't move them.
